New Advertising Campaign
I'm loving this new campaign by Team Detroit for the College of Creative Studies.
This team has designed a series of posters that are clever and funny in order to promote a discussion between parents and kids.
They are encouraging parents to "Talk to your kids about art school."
Well, that make sense because they work for a college.
However, there is a lot of truth behind the ads.
Here at Cool Like Pie, we think parents and kids should talk about art.
Not everyone will attend art school, but everybody should be able to enjoy a creative life.
Awesome New Cool Thing
OOO MY Design has created this super interesting thing.
I'm not sure exactly what to call it.
It's not quite shelves...but it holds all of your stuff.
It's called the "Pin Pres", and it is sold as a storage space for kids.
When your need to put away books or toys, you simply push them into the surface.
This thing looks like a lot of fun.
The Jet Man
In Switzerland, Yves Rossy, flew with fighter jets with his tailor-made jet pack.
He flew with the jets at 137 miles per hour.
This is amazing!
Not only was he brave enough to do this, but he also made his own jet pack.
Incredible.
Coollikepie visits Pompeii
Pompeii is a Roman city, located in Italy, that was completely buried after Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79.
For almost 1700 years, this city was buried under ashes and pumice.
In 1749, this city was rediscovered.
It's excavation has taught us about the lives of Romans during the Roman Empire.
Most of the buildings and structures look exactly like they did in AD 79.
There is still a lot of the city buried and they plan to excavate it in the future.
Why Would Anyone Ever Do This?
Congratulations to Wang Dalin for winning the annual bee-wearing competition in China's Hunan Province.
Wang is a beekeeper, so maybe he is wired a bit differently than the rest of us.
He ended up wearing 58 pounds of bees!
Wang was only wearing shorts, a nose plug and googles.
Although this is an extremely impressive amount of bees, it is not the world record.
The current world record for the "most pounds of bees worn on the body" is held by American Mark Biancaniello.
Mark covered his body with 87 pounds of bees.
This is really such a strange thing to do.

Baby Talks On Cell Phone
I'm loving this viral video of little Lucian talking on the cell phone.
His dad, from dadandburied.com, posted this clip on YouTube.
He wrote, "Lucian using my cellphone to make an important phone call. About what? Only he knows."
