Defying Gravity

Check out this really cool trick that you can make yourself with just a few simple items. I love any type of trick that involves a magnet.
In 1992, the material used in pennies became more expensive; therefore, pennies began being made with copper plated steel which makes them magnetic.
Give it a shot!

The Prince Rupert's Drop

Ever since my middle school science class when we were given rods of glass and allowed to melt them over a Bunsen burner, I've been obsessed with melting glass.
Glass artists from all over the world use fire to blow, shape, and sculpt glass into all kinds of cool forms.
This video below explains the really interesting and freaky thing hot glass does when it is dropped into a bucket of cool water.
This effect is called, "The Prince Rupert's Drop," although it was not discovered by Prince Rupert.

Steven Frayne, known as Dynamo, is an incredible magician in his early 30's.
Young and vibrant, he has been bringing magic back into the mainstream for quite sometime now.
