The Magic of Photoshop Brings Van Gogh Back To Life
Lithuanian artist, Tadao Cern, created this incredible image that looks like a photograph of Vincent Van Gogh.
Tadao says only this, "Some time ago a stranger asked me to make his portrait... So I did.
And it seem that the guy was Vincent Van Gogh..."
I love it!

Clever Remake of a Colgate Ad
Laurent Ledoux and Cyrill Ramakers are two artists from Belgium that recreated this advertisement using Photoshop.

Student Created Photoshop Creatures
I'm loving the work of Indonesian art student Rosabella Chandra.
She completed the project "Animal Figures in Smoke" for an assignment in a college course.
Photoshop is awesome and everybody should learn to use it!

Thankfully Humans Didn't Turn Out Like This!
I'm loving this series of photographs from Spanish artist Noxbil.
He calls them "Humanimals" and although I've seen many photoshopped images of animal heads on human bodies, there is something special about these ones.
Can you imagine a world filled with these creatures?

Advertisements for Medication or Really Interesting Photographs?
Tom Hussey is a commercial photographer from Dallas, Texas.
He recently created this award winning advertisement campaign for the Novartis' Exelon Patch.
This patch is a medication used to treat dementia and Alzheimer's.
These photographs could easily stand alone in a gallery as some really thought provoking artwork.
Each photograph shows an older person looking at a reflection of his or her younger self.

Day or Night....I Mean Day AND Night
Photographer Nathan Spotts has created this incredible series of photographs that show us one image at different times of day.
The bottom of the photo is daytime and the image slowly bleeds into the night sky.
Nathan says, "I've always been captivated by the beauty of our world, and often dream of the things that lay just beyond what we can see. I wanted to create images of scenes that are not-quite real, but that almost could be."

Crazy Animals
Recently there was a Photoshop contest that revolved around the creation of new animals by combining two existing animals. Below are some of the submissions.
Aren't they creative?
Look At These Pictures Upside Down
These photos are using the "Thatcher" effect.
The effect is created by flipping a portrait upside down while keeping the eyes and/or mouth right side up.
The human brain has a difficult time detecting these subtle “local” changes, and the portraits may look normal until you see them flipped.
Try turning your monitor or head to look at these images upside down...CREEPY!
Dutch photographers Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm shot this series of photographs for a Dove ad campaign.
