Life as a LEGO

Swedish artist Tobias Ottenfelt has spent the past year in LEGO City, snapping photographs of everyday life and posting the photos to Instagram.
Every photo was shot on a phone and was edited using only the standard filters available through Instagram.
These photos are awesome...I have such a weakness for cool LEGO shots!

"Set Aside Time & Do It" by Ella Zheng

Ella Zheng has created this clever poster to illustrate her newest project DESTINATION:PLAY.
DESTINATION:PLAY is an ambitious adventure to learn a new skill each and every week.
While creating the poster she also mastered her newest skill called embroidery.
It took her at least 1 hour to create each letter...that's a lot of hours!

Tadao says only this, "Some time ago a stranger asked me to make his portrait... So I did.
And it seem that the guy was Vincent Van Gogh..."

Intercollegiate Ice Sculpting Competition in Michigan

Every January, over 20 students from all over the Midwest travel to Holland, Michigan to compete in an ice sculpting competition.
Each competitor is given a 300 pound block of ice to transform into a work of art.
They use chisels, chainsaws, and torches to melt and sculpt the ice.

I would love to try this at least once in my life!
