This is What Happens When the Artists Try to Change the World

According to the most recent United States data, the national rate of homelessness is 21 in 10,000.
There were 636,017 homeless individuals in the U.S. in 2011.
Many of the homeless live in emergency shelters or transitional housing, however 4 in 10 were unsheltered, living on the streets or in cars, abandoned buildings, or other places not intended for human habitation.

Photographer James Rasp created "Houseless Beautiful" in an attempt to spread awareness of homelessness to people like you and me.
His approach was to take photos highlighting the everyday comforts of home...but without the home.

James' work is powerful and interesting...check out his website here.
