One Party Not to Miss! Thousands of people gather in Pamplona, Spain to celebrate the tradition known as "the Running of the Bulls" that dates back to the year 1591. "The Running of the Bulls" is one event that occurs over a nine day Festival. The festival also hosts bullfights, a carnival, and fireworks This year's party started on July 9th and ends today. "The Running of the Bulls" is a practice of running in front of a small group of bulls that have been let loose on a sectioned-off course of a town's streets. I wonder why this tradition became so popular? I can imagine a group of people sitting around and one guy says, "I know, let's let a bull out, let him chase us, and see what happens." I bet he never thought it would become this popular!
