Thanks to photographer James Dennes, we can take a look inside the Holi Open Air Festival in Berlin.
Holi is a traditional festival that is celebrated in India.
There are many parts to the celebration, all rich with meaning, based on the story of King Hiranyakashyap and his sister.
These photos are showing the best part of the festival, known as the "Play of Colors."
In Berlin, this event was held July 29th and it was the first time Holi was celebrated in Europe.
Tickets sold out in less than a day so I suppose it was a smashing success.
