Art is Everywhere

Jeremy Bentham, the English philosopher,  wrote, "Stretching his hand up to reach the stars, too often man forgets the flowers at his feet."  Okay, these aren't flowers, but some of them are as pretty.  What are they?  They are manhole covers in Japan.  Many areas design these covers based on images from the town or city or incorporate things that they are famous for, like the squid manhole cover below.     Believe it or not, they attract many tourists, as each one is a work of art.
