Whoa....What Happened To Your Head?


I ran across this awesome photo while checking out the LIFE Magazine website.
I love the illusion that the swimmer's head has been disconnected from her body...how did they shoot this?

its called refraction. you can achive the same effect by putting a straw in water and looking at it from the side. I love Science!
