Flip Animation

I know there are a lot of animation programs out there that make creating an animation on your own super easy.  Before there were all of these programs, this is how we used to make animations.  It is called a Flip Book.  Basically you draw a simple picture with slight changes on each page, flip through the pages of the book really quick, and voila, your very own animation!!
Have fun and good luck!!

Here's what you need:
One small memo pad
A dark felt-tip pen

Some tips:
*The more pages it takes for your drawing to move, the slower the animation will go.
*Start simple.  A bouncing ball, stick figure, face, car...remember you will be drawing the entire picture each time, so keep it simple.

*Start on the last page of the pad. (Your flip book will go from back to front.)
*Draw on the lower half of the page.

*Put the page down on top of the one you just drew. (You should see through the paper.)
*Copy your first drawing, but in a slightly different position.
*Continue this process until you are done!
(Whenever you want to check how it’s coming out, just flip it!)
*Hold the pad at the top and flip it from the bottom.

Below is an example.
