I never thought in a million years that in our lifetime we may see everyday people visit space just for fun. New Mexico Spaceport Authority is constructing the first spaceport, known as Spaceport America, which will allow tourists to visit space.
This $209 million project has recently completed its first phase of construction and they plan to be completed and ready to take tourists up by 2013.
I can't imagine how expensive it is going to be!
