Photographer Michael Shindler has a small photography studio named Photobooth in San Francisco, California.
This is not a traditional photography studio, Michael is creating tintypes rather than traditional photos.
He has altered a 4x5 camera to fit on an aluminum plate in the back where film traditionally sat.
There is no negative or film used.
The image is created directly onto the plate.
