Forty-Nine Friends, She is Beautiful
There are many things that people do to remember experiences or relationships.
I guess the most common one would be a time capsule.
This is one special story of how a group of women created a symbol to show their friendship.
In 1886, a senior class of forty-nine women all had individual photos taken of them.
The negatives were then combined, creating just a single image which they named Composita.
Each member of the class carried the image of Composita with them throughout their lives.
The last member of the class died in 1964.
