100 Abandoned Houses in Detroit
Detroit used to be the fifth largest city in the United States.
The city itself is huge, there is enough room to fit San Francisco, Boston and Manhattan in Detroit.
However, this city is no long thriving.
In the last 60 years, Detroit has lost over half of its population.
That's a ton of empty and abandoned homes sitting around one city.
Photographer Kevin Bauman decided to start a project called 100 abandoned houses.
He has photographed 100 abandoned houses in Detroit, it is estimated that there are 12,000 such houses around the city.
