The Bridge of Thirty-three Arches
Here in America, there are very few structures still standing that were built in the early 1600's.
In other parts of the world, however, there are many strong and impressive buildings, bridges, and sculptures that stand strong after all these years.
This is the Si-o-se Pol (translates to the Bridge of Thirty-three Arches), also called the Allah-Verdi Khan Bridge located in Isfahan, Iran. It was commissioned in 1602 by Shah Abbas.
How did they do that without any modern machinery?
