The Start of Photography

Photography has become so advanced over the years that photographers can capture images to the milliseconds with the appropriate technology.

In 1839, when photography was first introduced, it was a very difficult process. It wasn't until 1888 when things changed, thanks to Kodak. The camera became user-friendly, making it much more popular.
George Eastman's first camera was just a wooden box covered by leather, that could be held in your hands.

The user would have to wind it, set the shutter by pulling a string, and snap the button. Most of us think of putting in film in older cameras, but this camera came with a roll of film already installed. It could take up to 100 pictures that were two and a half inches in length. To get the film developed you would have to give the entire camera to the factory. They would print out the images and reload the camera.
