How to Build an Igloo with a Pair of Skis
Tools needed:
A snow saw or a carpenter's saw
A small machete or ax is helpful, but not necessary
The snow must be hard enough to make a solid block; if you need to, remove the first layer of snow to find harder snow underneath.

Step 1: Make a one yard circle with your ski pole to mark the base of the dome(Do not make it any larger!)
Step 2: Using a saw, make blocks that are 6-12 inches. If the blocks are not hard enough to pick up without breaking, leave them in the wind for awhile to harden.
Step 3: Using the tip of your ski, smooth and angle the blocks to make a strong bond to the adjacent blocks. Place them around the circle in a spiral.  As you continue to place the blocks of snow on the igloo, remove the snow that starts to pile up inside.
A dome will start to form.
Step 4: Finally, using your hands, fill the cracks with snow.

Make sure to always leave an open space for a door.
