People Have Used Solar Energy For Years

Ever since there has a sun, there has been solar energy. In 700 B.C., people would catch wood on fire by collecting the solar energy from the sun by using a magnifying glass. 
The Greeks even built homes that captured the sun's rays in the summer and not in the winter. 
Even the Romans figured out that using greenhouses helped trap heat. 
One man made water boil by trapping the heat from the sun with a bunch of glass in the 1700's. Pretty Amazing!
