If we really think about the amount of debris that is in our rivers, lakes, and oceans, most of us would be disgustingly shocked.
Even with new laws, debris continues to clog up bodies of water around the world.
In order to promote awareness of this pollution, Alex Levi and Amanda Schachter have initiated a project known as Harvest 2.0.
Alex and Amanda will have a team of people constructing a floating dome made from umbrellas and soda bottles that will float along New York City's Inwood Hill Park.
If this does not get people's attention, I do not know what will.
