A team from the University of Melbourne in Australia discovered that when one ant fights another ant from a different colony, it has the ability to retain the enemy's scent and pass that information on to its colony.
An ant's body is coated with a specific chemical scent undetectable by the human nose.
I wish I could sniff out any enemies that might cross my path!
