Scientists have discovered that spiders are great conductors of heat, and therefore, may be useful in electronics.
A researcher, Xinwei Wang, from Iowa State University, concluded that spider silk is a better conductor than aluminum, iron, and silicon.
It can transfer heat 800 times organic tissue and 1,000 times better than silkworm silk.
Another bonus is that it is light, strong, and flexible.
It is kind of creepy thinking that my computer may be filled with spider webs, but at the same time, think how light it will be to carry!
