A fish that bounces on water
The bouncing fish is very similar to frogfish.
It has leg-like fins on both sides of it's body.
Frogfish use fins along with tiny gills that expel jets of water to 'walk' in the water; however, bouncing fish have an off-center tail that causes it 'bounce' around like a rubber ball.
This type of fish was discovered by a scuba diving instructor off the shore of the Ambon Islands in Eastern Indonesia.
Scientists identified bouncing fish as new species of the frogfish family.
These fish are often found near coral reef.
I would love to see one of these fish.
