These beautiful islands are in a really remote place between Norway and Iceland. They have been under Danish control since 1388.
There are 18 major islands in this chain with a population of about 50,000 people and twice as many sheep than people! It is close to the Arctic Circle so it never gets really warm, but it also doesn't get as cold as you would think. It rains a lot, but that explains the beautiful green everywhere.
I would like to visit these remote set of islands in the summertime to see some of the amazing wildlife.
