I have always loved the band They Might Be Giants.
I first heard about this band when I was in High School from my older sister.
(She always knows cool music)
Then, a few years ago I subscribed to Friday Podcast by They Might Be Giants.
Everybody like it.
I showed everybody.
Well...wait until you hear this song.
This is They Might Be Giants performing in the "Tiny Desk Concert" by NPR.
NPR is awesome.
It stands for National Public Radio.
NPR has a project call "Tiny Desk Concert", where they bring musicians into an office and have them sing three songs.
They tape it and put the miniature concert on the internet.
This video is the They Might Be Giant's performance for the "Tiny Desk Concert" series.
I found I enjoyed the song much more if I was reading the lyrics while I was listening to the song.
So, I put the lyrics up on the video for you to try reading along.
The title of this song is Cloisonné.
Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metal objects.
You would probably have to take a class to learn how to do it.
It's an art skill.
The song must have meaning.
What in the world do you think it's about?
I have no idea what this song is about.
But, seriously, OMG....You have to listen to my new favorite song.
