Today, March 17th, we celebrate St. Patrick's day in honor of St. Patrick.
The original color associated with this holiday was blue.
Why do we see people on wearing green?
Originally, on this day, green ribbons were displayed everywhere.
St. Patrick also used the shamrock, which is green, to explain the Holy Trinity.
In 1798, Irish soldiers started a rebellion in hopes of changing the color to green.
They showed up in full green uniforms to make a statement.
It looks like it worked!
Put something green on and enjoy the day!
