I know printers can help us out in so many ways, but I would never have imagined it could make a jaw!
An 83-year-old Belgian woman received a new lower jaw created by a 3-D printer.
This jaw was made from titanium powder that was heated and fused a layer at a time by a special laser printer.
It took 33 layers just to build 1mm of it.
LayerWise built this jaw to act like a normal human jaw.
I wonder what they are planning on making next.
