100 Year Old Letter To Santa Claus Found In Ireland
In 1992, when installing central heating into the home, the owner found something tucked up the chimney.
He pulled out a 100 year old letter to Santa Claus.
The letter was handwritten and signed by either A or H Howard.
On Christmas Eve 1911, it is believed that brother and sister Hannah and Fred slipped the letter up the chimney for dear old Santa.
The letter stated, "Good Luck. I want a baby doll and a waterproof with a hood and a pair of gloves and a toffee apple and a gold penny and a silver sixpence and a long toffee."
Yummy, a toffee apple?
