6th Grader Makes iPad Apps
Thomas Suarez is only in the 6th grade.
He has be fascinated by computers since before he was in kindergarten.
As he got older he began to tinker with computer programming.
After playing around with some software, he started actually learning how to create games for the computer.
Eventually, Thomas created two iOS apps (for sale in the App Store) for iPad, iPhone, and the iPod Touch.
This is quite an awesome achievement for such a young man.
Modest Thomas doesn't seem to act like it was all that hard.
He has started an App Club at his school so other kids can learn to create games and apps.
Thomas Suarez is representing kids everywhere.
Here is a clip from a speech he made at TED.
Thomas is letting the grown ups know that kids know how to use technology.
Take a moment and listen to what he's got to say.
