A robot that can be controlled by Xbox or a Nintendo Wii.
A robot named NASA’s ATHLETE, designed by the the Jet Porpulsion Laboratory of NASA, is unlike no other robot.
The ATHLETE uses it's six legs to move through any type of terrain.
The designers of the robot decided to test it in California, near the Dumont Dunes.
Just like they expected, the robot was successful.
The robot is 13 feet tall and weighs less than 5,000 pounds and can lift six times it's weight.
It will be very helpful in space.
The ATHLETE is able to jump, climb, walk and even dance.
