The Isle of Skye is the second largest island in Scotland.
It is here on this isle where you can find the famous Fairy Pools.
The Fairy Pools are supposed to be one of the best places in the world to swim.
The pools are extremely unique because the water is a beautiful bright turquoise.
The color of the water comes from the mineral deposits in the rocks below.
The water only looks green, it is really crystal clear.
The water in the pools comes from the melting snow in the Cullin Mountains nearby.
There are many waterfalls near the pools that add to the charm and beauty of this place.
The major downside to this practically perfect location is that the water is super cold!
Some find it refreshing, but there's not a whole lot I enjoy about jumping into freezing cold waters.
